Take a Word: Travel / Matka

Tässä on yksi aukeama Maltan-matkani matkapäiväkirjasta. Tein päiväkirjan sivujen taustat etukateen valmiiksi kotona (katso postaukseni 1.4. "Matkapäiväkirja helposti ja nopeasti"). Tällä aukeamalla kerron matkustamisesta Maltan paikallisbusseilla - noilla mainioilla keltaisilla ajoneuvoilla, joista osa on todellisia vintage-aarteita. Malta on pieni maa ja paikallisbusseilla pääsee joka paikkaan. Ja mikä parasta: matkan hinta on 47 senttiä. - Tällä aukeamalla osallistun Take a Wordin haasteeseen, jonka aiheena on "Matka".

This is one spread from my Malta travel journal. I made the backgrounds of the pages beforehand (see my entry from April 1. "Travel Journal Quick and Easy"). On this spread I tell about traveling with the Maltese local buses - those wonderful yellow vehicles, some of which are real vintage treasures. Malta is a small country, and you can get anywhere with a local bus. And what is best: the cost is 47 cents for a ride. - This spread is my entry for Take a Word's challenge "Travel".

    I saw a movie filmed in Malta recently and was so impressed with what I saw of that tiny country - beautiful old buildings, pristine shorelines, narrow and hilly pathways. To think you can travel anywhere on 47 cent buses is amazing. I think I want to go there! Eila, your collage is superb. I love it. Sorry to be late with my comment this week.
