"Kolme Muusaa" heittivät tämän viikon haasteeksi "numerot". Tein puutarha-aiheiseen altsukirjaani teemasta aukeaman, jolla haluan juhlistaa omenasatoni valmistumista. Pihallani on pieni Valkea kuulas -omenapuu, jonka edesmennyt isäni aikoinaan antoi minulle 50-vuotispäivälahjaksi. Tänä vuonna se on antanut ensimmäisen suuren sadon, parikymmentä ihanan mehukasta suurta omenaa. Niistä riittää syömistä pitemmäksikin aikaa kuin viikoksi, mutta tähän kollaasiini tein kuitenkin vain omenan jokaiselle viikonpäivälle.
"Numbers" is the Three Muses' challenge for this week. I made this collage in my altered book, where the theme is my garden. With this piece I celebrate the ripening of my apple crop. I have a small apple tree, which my late father gave me for my 50th anniversary several years ago, and this autumn the tree is giving its first big crop: two dozens of big fruity delicious apples. There's more than an apple for each day of the week, but in this collage I only made seven apples - to keep the doctor away.
