The Three Muses: Hats / Hatut

Kolme Muusaa haastoivat tekemään kuvia aiheesta "Hatut".
The Three Muses challenged to make art with "Hats". I made this spread in my altered book, and here the hats are the best Sunday-hats of the mushrooms. In my collage I used various cotton fabrics and crafting papers, and embellished the hats with what I found in my stash of small things. - I am a devoted mushroom-lover. The endlessly varying forms and colours of mushrooms never cease to delight me. And think of the speed and energy with what they grow up from the ground as soon as they get some rain! With mushrooms I can dye fantastic colors in my yarns - and cook marvellously delicious food on my plate!

  7. This is wonderful, Eila. So creative and unique. What's more, you've educated me about mushrooms. I didn't know they could be used for dying! Beautiful entry.
(By the way, the wonders of the internet never cease to amaze me. In the first four entries I've been from the UK, to Australia, to New Zealand, to Finland to the US. And we can all meet here and share friendship and talent! Isn't that a wonderful thing?)
