The pigeons are glossy die cuts, and I painted the board with pearlescent acrylic paints.

Eila, I am so thrilled to know that you are keeping a journal book especially for the Muses challenges. Your work is beautiful, always. I love your chess board and the "pieces" - except they may leave some unwanted calling cards on the board!! It reminds me of a silly little poem from my childhood:
VastaaPoistaA little birdy flying by
Dropped a "present" from the sky.
As I wiped it from my eye,
I praised the Lord that cows don't fly".
