Kun huomasin, että "Kolmen muusan" tämän viikon haasteen aiheena on mustavalkoisuus, päätin että nyt on aika haarrastaa vähän "doodlausta" eli "ajatuksetonta piirtelyä", kuten sanakirja tuon termin näppärästi suomentaa. Koska tein tämän jutun puutarhapäiväkirjani aukeamalle, ajattelin kuitenkin sen verran, että yritin käytää erilaisia kasviaiheita tuhertelussani. Maalasin sivujen pohjat ensin ohuesti gessolla, ja sitten vaan kynät käteen!When I noticed that the "Three Muses" want us to make black-and-white art this week, I thought that now it's time for me to do some doodling. Because I made this piece on a spread of my "Garden journal", I included a lot of plant forms in my drawing. First I painted a thin layer of gesso on the book pages, and then I just grabbed my markers and let go.
