Three Muses: Pockets / Taskuja

Kolme Muusaa antoivat viikon aiheeksi "Taskut".

The Three Muses set the theme for this week to be "Pockets". I made a spread in my altered book using the back pocket from my old green jeans, a needle and thread for various stiches, and images from itkupilli, Annen Arkkikauppa and from my own stash. In the right hand side pocket there's a window so you can see the stuff collected in the bottom of the pocket. I have no idea what the meaning of my collage might be - it just turned out like this. - I painted the backgrounds of the pages with acrylic paints, first blue then green, and while the green paint was wet I printed stripes on it with a piece of corrugated cardboard.

I especially love the way you have shown us a corner of the inside where more little bits and pieces are hiding. This is fantastic work.
