Collage Obsession on uusi haasteblogi, jonka vetäjinä toimivat Elegia ja Itkupilli. Ensimmäisen haasteen aiheina ovat valokuva maailmankuulusta näyttelijättärestä Sarah Bernhardtista ja sana "Kulunut". Tein aiheesta tällaisen (aika alkeellisen) digikollaasi-ATC:n, jossa istutin haalistetun valokuvan Itkupillin digiarkista peräisin olevaan kehykseen ja lisäsin mukaan tekstin Kodin Tietokirjan vuoden 1935 painoksesta. Halusin tällä koosteella ilmaista sitä, miten suurten ja kuuluisienkin ihmisten muisto vähitellen väistämättä haalistuu ja vaipuu unholaan - siis kuluu niinkuin vanha valokuvakin.Collage Obsession is a new challenge blog, hosted by Elegia and Itkupilli. Their first challenge includes a photo of the great actress Sarah Bernhardt and the words "Worn out". My entry for their challenge is this (rather primitive) digital collage ATC. I embedded the faded photo in a frame which I took from a digital collage sheet by Itkupilli, and then I added a quote from an encyclopedia printed in 1935. The quote (which is in Finnish) can be translated something like this: "A French actress. A shocking power of living the parts and a sonorous manner of reciting." With this collage I wanted to say that no matter how great or famous a person may be, eventually everyone is doomed to fade away in the memory of the people - to wear out like an old photograph.
