Collage Obsession: Old Dark House / Vanha synkkä talo

Tänä talvena lunta on ollut todella paljon. "Collage Obsessionin" haasteen kuvana on tällä viikolla Rickin valitsema vanha synkkä talo, jota hän pyysi käyttämään tarinan lähtökohtana. Omassa versiossani peitin talon lumeen, sillä omankin taloni ikkunoista näkyy tätä nykyä vain korkeita lumikasoja.

"Collage Obsession" challenge was posted this week by Rick. He had chosen an image of an old dark house and he asked us to tell a story about it. Because this winter we really have a lot of snow, I decided to put the house in the middle of snow. My house looks a lot like this nowadays - all I can see from my windows are high heaps of snow.

Collage Obsession # 2: Abandoned / Hylätty

Collage Obsessionin toisen haasteen teema on "Hylätty". Käytin tässä digi-ATC:ssäni Elegian haasteen yhteydessä antamaa talon kuvaa, jonka yhdistin kuvaan vanhasta seinäpaperina kuluneesta sanomalehdestä. Ajatukseni oli, että kaikki tavara tässä maailmassa joskus hylätään ja jätetään haalistumaan ja rapistumaan - olipa kyse sitten kivitalosta tai sanomalehden sivusta. - Tuo todella kaunis kuva vanhasta sanomalehdestä on kirjasta "Nirunaru" (julkaissut Edita vuonna 1997).

Collage Obsession's second challenge asked us to make a piece with the theme "Abandoned". Elegia gave with the challenge an image of an old house, which I used in my digital ATC. I connected the image of the house with an image of a piece of old newspaper, which has been used as wallpaper. My idea behind this collage is that all things, whether they be stone houses or newspaper pages, will eventually be abandoned and let to fade and decay. - The image of the newspaper-wallpaper is from the book "Nirunaru" (published by Edita in 1997).

Tässä korttini ThemeThursdayn haasteeseen, jonka aiheena on "Tagit". Kortin idea lähti liikkeelle ystäviltä saaduista ja hankituista aineksista: tausta on itkupillin arkista "Abandoned Houses" ja siluettikuvan antoi minulle vaihtokaupanpäällisenä pappipuikoissa. This ATC is my entry for ThemeThursday's challenge "Tags". The ingredients of this card originate from my friends: the background is from a digital sheet "Abandoned Houses", which I purchased from itkupilli. The silhouette image was a gift from pappipuikoissa, with whom I traded cards a week ago. Last night I started to think what I might be able to make of these together, and then with today's challenge the idea was born. Thank you friends!
