TMTA: Lentää / Fly

Tässä pääskyseni vastauksena TMTA:n haasteeseen. Mikäpä kuuluisi enemmän kesään kuin pääskynen: pääskysestä kesän sanotaan alkavan, pääskysten lento ja tirskutus ovat erottamaton osa kauneinta kesää, ja muuttomatkalle kerääntyvät pääskysparvet enteilevät alkavaa syksyä. - Kuva ja nimiteksti ovat vanhasta tietosanakirjasta, taustan olen koonnut erilaisista vihreänsävyisistä papereista ja maalannut ohennetulla helmiäisakryylillä, ja koristanut saniaisleimasimilla.

Here's my swallow, a contribution to TMTA's challenge. Summer and swallows really belong together: here in Finland we say that summer begins when the swallows arrive. Flying and chirping swallows are an essential part of the high summer, and when they gather to start their long migration back to Africa, we can feel that the autumn is getting near. - The image is from an old encyclopedia, the background is my collage of various green papers painted with pearlescent acrylics and stamped with fern images.
